Description

Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational, policies and procedures as per established SOP and company policy.

Ensures that warehouse and distribution procedures are as per regulatory authorities’ guidelines and requirements.

Ensures that storage conditions of the warehouse are monitored and recorded appropriately

Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.

Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Collaborating with Marketing, Sales and operations to ensure that forecasts are made for annual budgets and targets are set for sales teams

Collaborates with the Marketing, Sales and operations to prepare the Rolling Forecasting for an optimal Replenishment of Products to be procured. Liaises with the CEO and Operations to effect the required Import and Local Purchase Orders.
