1) Must possess a valid Heavy Duty or Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), appropriate to the type of vehicle being operated. 2) Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience operating heavy-duty vehicles (trucks, trailers, etc.). 3) At least a basic education level (e.g., ability to read and write in English). 4) No recent traffic violations, accidents, or license suspensions. 5) Must be physically fit and able to handle long hours of driving and possible manual work (e.g., loading/unloading cargo). 6) Strong understanding of road signs, defensive driving techniques, and traffic laws. 7) Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is an advantage. 8) Ability to work independently and follow instructions. 9) Reliable, responsible, and punctual. 10) Willing to travel long distances or stay away for extended periods, if required.

 We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Duty Driver to operate large vehicles such as trucks, trailers, or other heavy-duty transport equipment. The driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods, equipment, or materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate heavy-duty vehicles safely and efficiently.


2. Transport goods/materials according to delivery schedules and routes.


3. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles.


4. Ensure cargo is properly loaded, secured, and delivered in good condition.


5. Maintain accurate trip records, delivery logs, and fuel usage reports.


6. Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures.


7. Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents to the supervisor.


8. Assist with loading and unloading when necessary.

Requirements:

1. Valid commercial/heavy vehicle driving license.


2. Proven experience as a heavy-duty or commercial driver.


3. Good knowledge of road safety regulations.


4. Physically fit and able to lift or move heavy items if needed.


5. Strong communication and time management skills.


6. Clean driving record.

NB: All applicants must be able to read and write, as both a written and practical driving test will be conducted during the selection process.
