Logistics Manager Information
The jobholder is responsible for providing overall direction for the Operations department, establish and ensure implementation of the department’s strategies and policies to support the company’s business/network.
•Ensure that services carried out are in compliance with laws and regulations of the country
•Plan and coordinate warehousing and transportation activities to ensure that the right number of goods are moved to the right locations and to the right persons at the scheduled time
•Develop and update standard operating procedures for all business operational activities
•Oversee the planned maintenance of warehouse equipment and transport.
•Coordinate activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements
•Manage stock control, and check that inventory records are accurately entered for easy reference and accountability
•Analyze and monitor operational data to ensure potential problems are averted or mitigated
•Oversee the preparation of orders and deliveries as part of record-keeping measures and evidence of transaction
•Prepare and recommend to Management of annual budget for operational equipment required by the company
•Direct the day to day activities of the department towards the achievement of the company’s objectives
•Organize training on SHE for staffs of the department to keep staff updated on changes and to create continues SHE awareness
