A reputable Paper Manufacturing Company seeks an Electrical Engineer. The Electronics Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and improving electronic control systems used in paper converting machinery and related equipment. The role ensures smooth operations, minimal downtime and supports automation, process efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.

 

Job description:

 Install, maintain and repair electronic systems, sensors, programmable logic controller (PLCs), and control panels on converting machines (slitters, sheeters, rewinders, laminators, etc.).

 Diagnose faults in electronic and automation systems to minimize downtime.

 Develop, test and implement improvements in electronic control systems to enhance machine performance and efficiency.

 Work with mechanical and electrical teams to support preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

 Calibrate and maintain instrumentation, sensors and automated control devices.

 Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all electronic engineering activities.

 Maintain technical documentation, wiring diagrams and system schematics.

 Support energy efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives through electronic and automation solutions.

 Train operators and technicians on proper machine control usage and troubleshooting.

 Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to recommend technology upgrades and process improvements.
