REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelor's degree in Special Education needs. 2. Proven experience as a Special Education Needs Teacher working with students with a range of SEN, including autism, dyslexia, ADHD etc. 3. Good knowledge of current special education topics and methodologies 4. Experience working with children with a wide range of disabilities 5. Ability to create IEPs 6. A patient, resourceful, and resilient personality 7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 9. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills 10. Alpha Beta Education Centres is an international school located in Dansoman, Accra which offers the British National Curriculum from Preschool to Sixth Form. We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Coordinator to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assess the specific educational needs of children with learning disabilities and providing recommendations for their support

Coordinate, monitor and implement individual education plans for the SEN students

Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support students with special needs.

Demonstrate and monitor effective differentiation in the classroom.

Provide guidance and training to colleagues on SEN issues and strategies.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the school's SEN provision.

Work with teachers, the school leadership team, parents and relevant external agencies to develop, implement and monitor individual support/learning plans.
