We seek a dynamic and hands-on Commercial Manager to join our Ghana team. This dual-role position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in driving business growth—identifying opportunities, forging partnerships, and expanding our client base—while also ensuring smooth office operations, from administrative oversight to stakeholder coordination. Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development (60%)
- Lead Generation & Outreach:
- Identify and approach potential clients through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Initiate discussions with decision-makers to assess needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Arrange and attend meetings with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Represent the company professionally, fostering trust and long-term relationships.
- Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and implement Commercial Manager plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Research market trends, competitor activity, and potential growth areas.
- Reporting & Collaboration:
- Maintain accurate records of leads, deals, and client interactions in HubSpot (CRM).
- Collaborate with the UK and Ghana teams to align efforts with company objectives.
Office Management (40%)
- Administrative Oversight:
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and supplier agreements (e.g., internet, utilities).
- Organise meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and minute-taking
- Financial Coordination:
- Assist with basic bookkeeping, expense tracking, and invoice processing.
- Liaise with the UK finance team to ensure smooth operations.
- Internal Support:
- Act as the primary point of contact for office-related matters.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and local events for staff and visitors.
- Compliance & HR Support:
- Ensure adherence to local regulations (tax filings, permits, etc.).
- Assist with onboarding new hires and maintaining personnel records.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- 3+ years in commercial management or sales (marketing, technology, or agency background preferred).
- 1+ year in office management, operations, or administration.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage office workflows efficiently.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (HubSpot), Microsoft Office, and basic financial processes.
