Responsibilities
1. Determine internal audit scope and assist in developing annual plans and ensuring timely completion.
2. Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.
3. Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
4. Document process and prepare audit findings in the form of an audit report
5. Responsible for discussion of audit reports with process owners, and management and obtain management action plans and timelines.
6. Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions and send an MIS on open audit observations.
7. Assist in preparation of standard operating procedures across various processes.
8. Conduct special audits/ investigations in order to address serious audit concerns or those raised by management.
9. In addition to the annual audit plan, conduct audits as requested from time-to-time as recommended by Corporate audit team.
10. Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
