Our client, an FMCG company has immediate employment for a self-motivated, experienced and talented HEAD OF ACCOUNTS to help with their financial operations.
ROLE PROFILE
The successful candidate will oversee the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets. He/She will be responsible for the production of periodic financial reports ensuring that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
- Develop the company’s financial and accounting policies, workflows and methods heads of finance
- Manage the team of Accountants working within the company.
- Auditing accounts to ensure they comply with the company’s policy regulations and the nation’s laws.
- Calculate and file corporate tax returns for the company to the Ghana revenue authority.
- Prepare and interpret audit information and institute financial policy, procedure and or operational corrections and modifications.
- Develop strategies that work to minimise financial risks within the institution.
