JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detailed Accountant to join our team in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The ideal candidate must be proficient in French, Excel, Tally and strong understanding of business functions. This role requires preparing timely financial reports and liaising with the head office for smooth financial operations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.


• Prepare and process monthly salary payments in compliance with company policies and local labor regulations.


• Monitor company expenses, ensuring cost control and adherence to budgets.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with accounting standards.


• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and other financial records.


• Prepare periodic financial reports and submit them to the head office.


• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in audits when required.


• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management decisions.


• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for smooth financial operations.
