A Freight forwarding company seeks the services of a Finance Officer to join their organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions


• Assist in budget forecasts


• Assist in preparing financial reports for Management


• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable


• Ensure timely bank payments


• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns


• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of Payroll


• Compute and ensure remittance of VAT, WHT and PAYE


• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements


• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary


• Comply with financial policies and regulations
