Job Summary:

As the Accountant for the company, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities. Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, and compliance with regulatory standards. You will contribute to the financial health and operational success of the company by implementing robust accounting practices and providing strategic financial insights.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.


• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews and audits.


• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Develop and manage budgets.


• Provide financial forecasts and analyse variances between actual and budgeted figures.


• Implement cost control measures to enhance financial performance.

Accounts Payable and Receivable

• Manage invoicing, payments, and collections.


• Reconcile accounts and address discrepancies in a timely manner.


• Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.

Taxation and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns where needed.


• Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to financial regulations.

Payroll Management

• Liaise with agency partner to ensure compliance with payroll-related laws and regulations.

Internal Controls

• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.


• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.


• Identify and mitigate financial risks.

Financial Analysis and Reporting

• Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.


• Prepare regular reports on key financial metrics and performance indicators.


• Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and plans.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, auditors, and financial institutions, to promote the financial interests of the company.


• Liaise with the Marketing Department for debt collection for overdue invoices from clients.
