Digital Assets Summit Africa (DASA) 2026
Summit Events Information
Africa’s digital economy is projected to grow from about USD 115 billion in 2022 to over USD 700 billion by 2050, with the upcoming Digital Assets Summit Africa (DASA) 2026 expected to play a pivotal role in accelerating the transformation.
The two-day event, scheduled for September 29 to 30, 2026, at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, will bring together regulators, financial institutions, technology innovators, and investors to explore how digital assets can unlock investment, create jobs, and promote inclusive growth across the continent.
ProMark Elite Ltd, organisers of the summit, said in a statement to the Ghana News Agency that the event would focus on translating policy frameworks into tangible economic outcomes, with discussions on tokenisation, digital securities, and cross-border payments.
The theme for the 2026 edition, “From Policy to Prosperity: Scaling Digital Assets for Investment, Jobs & Economic Growth in Africa,” reflects the continent’s transition from regulatory groundwork to practical implementation.
Collaboration with the Bank of Ghana and the Securities and Exchange Commission is expected to enhance trust and investor confidence while promoting responsible innovation in Africa’s rapidly evolving digital finance space.
DASA 2026 will also spotlight inclusive development, with emphasis on youth entrepreneurship, women’s participation, and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) financing through digital tools.
More than 500 delegates from over 30 countries are expected to attend, including representatives from central banks, ministries of finance, fintech companies, and development finance institutions.
According to ProMark Elite Ltd, the summit aims to position Africa as a competitive player in the global digital economy, where tokenisation markets alone are projected to reach between USD 4 trillion and USD 5 trillion by 2030.
