This year marks the second edition of the WORLA Festival Of Arts & Music, (WORLAFEST) an annual all day music and arts event
This year marks the second edition of WORLAFEST; Festival Of Arts & Music, (WORLAFEST) an annual all day music and arts event held in Accra-Ghana. The name itself “Worla” means “the creator”. The festival is also an extension of the artistic facets of Ghanaian musician Worlasi, who doubles as a painter & animator. A highlight of this years edition will be Worlasi’s set during the concert. He’ll be performing new songs from his upcoming album ‘The Man & The God’.
Also be on the lookout for art pieces from various artisans from across West Africa. The festival will kick off at 12pm with the arts and crafts exhibition and DJ sets. The main concert will then kick off at 6pm. Worlafest will take place at Alliance Francaise Accra off Liberation Road). The theme for this year’s edition will be One Body, One Blood, One People.
Vendors & Sponsors
The festival also gives way for food vendors and sponsors, and other service providers to book stands to market and sell their products and services to an audience of over 2000 people from across Africa.
