Located in Kanda, Accra, MountCrest University College (MCU) is accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) as a research and teaching institution to run undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. All programmes are affiliated to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. MCU was established in August 2008 by Mr and Mrs Kwaku Ansa-Asare as a fitting memorial for their son, Kwame Ansa-Asare, who in his short span of life on earth shared whatever he had with all and sundry.

Kwame is the inspiration for our motto, “Ut Vitam Habeant” which, translated into English, means “That They May Have Life”, reflecting motivation, vision and commitment..
