The Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission Act, 2003 (Act 649) established the Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission, as a regulatory body to license and regulate the operation of postal and courier services in Ghana. This was in pursuance of the postal reforms embarked upon by the Government of Ghana, and the objective is to create a more liberalized and competitive postal and courier services environment. The Commission became operational in September 2004.
