Kwame Ofosu Bamfo, a Ghanaian. Present numeral strength stands at 102 with 5 forming the managing team. Bamson Company Limited has 7 branches, 39 distributors nation-wide.

Bamson has established its own Training Centre that offers technical courses for clients\' and at no cost, AkzoNobel Car Refinishes, selected the centre for its training programmes in Africa. After more than 22 years of steady progress in its activities, Bamson Company Ltd has become the market leader in the paint industry. Through an agreement with AkzoNobel Car Refinishes, BV of Holland in 1986 to import and distribute Sikkens Car Paints nationwide, the company has widened its scope in the paint business beyond its original mission and it is now promoting customer satisfaction through AkzoNobel Car Refinishes products (SIKKENS, DYNACOAT), by providing technical services on the correct usage of its quality products and also, offering training programmes in auto spraying, equipment maintenance and counter services to technicians and shop owners in the auto paint business.
