‘Lovers of The Nation’ is an NGO, which seeks to enhance the local drive for nation building.Basically, hammering on the need for patriotism, eschewing corruption and self discipline of Ghanaians. One often hears the claim that many of the problems of young people, and especially teenagers, are the result of low self-esteem.

The rationale for establishing this organisation is among others to guide the youth to take responsibility for their action. This way ones own sense of responsibility is built therefore diminishing the likelihood of inertia in the future.Lovers of The Nation (LOTN) also aims at improving the quality of our human resource and encourage a positive attitude and sense of duty towards successful nation building. The organisation has as its priority, the promotion of issues relating to patriotism namely: • Need for discipline nationwide • Responsibility towards the nation: positive thinking, self help etc • Nation building: harnessing human resources & natural resources .
