DJOLO (GATHERING) is a MOSSI word (the Mossi people are found in southern Burkina faso and Northern and Upper regions of Ghana). This unique piece seeks to explore the struggles and effects of individualism and the power of collaboration and unity.  This Contemporary African dance theatre presentation is a new creation which draws inspiration from three indigenous African (Ghana, Togo and Burkina Faso) cultural artistry situated in the story telling practices from Africa.
