Worlafest
This year marks the second edition of the Worla Festival of Arts & Music (WORLAFEST) - an annual all day music and arts event held in Accra-Ghana. The name itself “Worla” means “the creator”.
The festival is also an extension of the artistic facets of Ghanaian musician Worlasi, who doubles as a painter & animator. A highlight of this year’s edition will be Worlasi’s set during the concert.
He’ll be performing new songs from his upcoming album ‘The Man & The God’. Also be on the lookout for art pieces from various artisans from across West Africa.
The festival will kick off at 3pm with the arts and crafts exhibition and DJ Sets from DJ’s from Cameroun, Tanzania & Ghana. The main concert will then kick off at 6pm.
The theme for this year’s edition is One Body, One Blood, One People.
