Madam Georgina Nkrumah Aboah, District Chief Executive for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa (AOB) has said no meaningful development can take place without unity and cooperation of the people.
She has therefore urged the people to bury their political differences and contribute towards the development of the district.
Madam Aboah said this at her first meeting with the staff of the District Assembly at Breman Asikuma.
The DCE emphasized that his administration will not tolerate lateness and other negative tendencies that could retire the progress of the district, adding that, people with such motive must put a stop to it.
She said among her priorities is the improvement in internal revenue generation, to enable the Assembly make enough funds for an accelerated development of the district.
The DCE stated that the district has potentials to grow economically and called for hard work to tap these potentials to improve the livelihood of the people.
Madam Aboah said her doors were opened to receive suggestions and ideas that would help develop the area.
