Head coach of the Ghana national football team, Otto Addo, is expected to announce his squad later this week for two upcoming international friendly matches later this month.
Sources close to the Ghana Football Association indicate that the German-trained tactician will confirm his squad ahead of friendly encounters against Austria national football team and Germany national football team as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana will first take on Austria on March 27 at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna before facing Germany three days later in Stuttgart.

The two friendlies form part of a series of preparatory matches lined up for the Black Stars ahead of the World Cup scheduled for June.
Following the matches against Austria and Germany, Ghana are also expected to face Wales national football team and Mexico national football team in additional warm-up games.
The Black Stars will meet Mexico in May, although details regarding the venue and exact date are yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, the clash against Wales is scheduled for June 2 at the Cardiff City Stadium in Cardiff.
Recent squads named by Otto Addo have featured key players including Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew and Antoine Semenyo.
Wingers Kamaldeen Sulemana and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku are also expected to return to the squad when it is announced.

At the World Cup, Ghana have been drawn in Group L where they will open their campaign against Panama on June 17.
The Black Stars will then face England national football team in what promises to be a heavyweight encounter on June 23 before concluding their group stage campaign against Croatia national football team on June 27.
