Black Queens forward Doris Boaduwaa says she is grateful after bagging a goal in Ghana’s 2026 CAF Women’s ACON qualifier against Egypt.
Boaduwaa scored the first goal in Ghana’s 3-0 win over Egypt in the first of two legs against the North African nation in the final qualifier for next year’s Women’s AFCON in Morocco that commences on March 17.
Boaduwaa scored Ghana’s first in the 42nd minute after making a timely run to meet a beautifully floated ball behind the Egyptian defense and finished the move with a fine strike.
Mary Amponsah and Grace Asantewaa scored in the 82nd minute and 93rd minutes to wrap up proceedings. Egypt on the other hand, played from the 52nd minute down by a player when Habiba Esam Mohamed heavily fouled Asantewaa and got sent off.
Ghana takes on Egypt in the return leg on Tuesday, October 28 at the Accra Sports Stadium at 15:30 GMT and after scoring in the win, Boaduwaa is eagerly looking forward to return encounter stating,
