Accra, Ghana’s capital, is set to host the first official meeting of the newly elected Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on April 26, 2025.
The high-level meeting will take place at the prestigious Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, starting at 10:00 a.m.
This landmark gathering is expected to shape the future of African football, with key decisions to be made regarding development initiatives, competitions, and governance structures across the continent.
A major highlight of the meeting will be the election of CAF’s new Vice-Presidents, in line with the organization’s statutes.
Beyond fulfilling a critical governance requirement, the election is crucial for steering the strategic direction and growth of African football.
The meeting will be chaired by the CAF President, who was recently given a strong mandate for a new four-year term by all 54 CAF Member Associations.
Discussions will cover a range of topical issues affecting the sport, as well as CAF’s broader efforts to promote football excellence across Africa.
Ghana has expressed its readiness to host the event, which will bring together experienced football administrators and stakeholders from across the continent.
