Wales defender Lois Joel has joined Newcastle United Women after her contract with London City Lionesses expired.
The 25-year-old represented England at under-17 and under-19 level but switched her allegiance to Wales, making her senior international debut off the bench as Wales beat the Republic of Ireland 2-0 in Dublin in February.
Joel said: "It's a really exciting time to join this club. I met Becky [manager Langley] and the girls who were all so lovely and I felt like I could fit in here straight away.
"It's a big club and one that's on the up with the women's team. The girls have done really well to get promoted from tier three into the Championship and I hope just to bring a bit more experience in this league because it will bring a few different challenges.
"I can play in a couple of different positions as well, so it's good to be able to give Becky some options."
