Black Stars winger Kamaldeen Sulemana’s purported transfer move from Southampton to Ajax Amsterdam has collapsed.
This is according to Italian football insider Fabrizio Romano who broke the news on his X (formerly Twitter) page.
The very popular football transfer guru reported earlier this week about the potential move for Kamaldeen following the closure of the main transfer window on August 30.
According to multiple sources including one from Dutch football media personality Mike Verweij, Ajax filed transfer documents for Sulemana in the final minutes of the transfer window and the transfer files were being reviewed by FIFA. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
However, the transfer has fallen through according to the latest update from Romano with the news ending the possibility for Sulemana to be the latest Ghana international to play for the Dutch giants.

A move on Sulemana was on the table with the former Right To Dream Academy player viewed as a replacement for Steven Bergwijn who moved from Ajax to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.
Sulemana is yet to feature in the 2024-2025 season as he nurses an injury that forced him out of contention for a spot in the Black Stars’ 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
