Mr John Kwesi Agyabeng, District Chief Executive (DCE) for Agona has said the government of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would protect state resources for the benefit of the people.
He noted that the government would not dish out money to influence the electorate but rather use it judiciously to better the lot of Ghanaians.
Mr Agyabeng who is also the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Agona East said this at separate party rallies at Mankron-Junction, Mensakrom and Jacob, to campaign for votes.
Mr Agyabeng pointed out that the government would continue to pursue good policies and programmes to move the country forward.
He said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has nothing to offer the people of this country after 20 years of misrule.
He said the government has given a big boost to the salt and cocoa industries in order to create wealth and jobs for the people.
On the District Mutual Health Insurance Scheme, Mr Agyabeng said the scheme had taken off successfully and expressed the hope that it would ensure quality health delivery in the country.
He stressed the need for the people to embrace the scheme and pay the approved premium of 72,000 cedis per annum.
Mr Alex Nkansah-Anyanful, Agona East Constituency Chairman of party said the expectations of members of the NPP were high, and expressed the hope that the party would be victorious in the December election.
He said he was optimistic that based on the projects the party had done in the area the electorate would vote massively for President J A Kufuor and the parliamentary candidate.
Mr Nkansah-Anyanful called on party supporters to embark on house-to-house campaign and spread the good message of President Kufuor and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to the electorate.
