Forces loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi bombarded on Friday rebels' positions in the Libyan
town of Misrata, 150 km from the capital Tripoli, Al- Jazeera TV reported.
Al-Arabiya TV confirmed the report, citing one of the rebels as saying the bombardment by tanks and heavy artillery is still ongoing.
Libya's state TV said Thursday Misrata has been recaptured by government forces.
