The only woman elected to the Ahafo-Ano South District Assembly, has pledged to work hard to bring
development to her community.
Madam Emelia Nsiah, Assembly member for Mpasaaso Number Two, said she would do everything to complete on-going projects she started during her first four-year term.
These include a market and washrooms.
Madam Nsiah, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency, said she also planned to build a community centre and assist to train the unemployed to acquire skills to become economically self-supporting.
She therefore appealed for support.
She conveyed her appreciation to the people for giving her the mandate to represent them at the assembly for the second time and said she would live up to expectation.
She would be accountable and transparent in all her dealings, she said.
