More than 260 Nepalese returned to Nepal from Libya on Sunday morning, at the Nepali Tribhuvan International Airport.
Most of the returnees are staff from Sino Hydro Company in Libya. With the efforts of the Nepali government and the Chinese embassy in Nepal, all Nepalese working in the company were sent back home.
Talking to media at the airport, Dinesh Hari Adhikari, Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Transport Management, said there are just 112-115 Nepalese waiting for evacuation now.
"We are finding alternative ways to bring them back safely and we will work hard to bring them back," he added.
More than 650 Nepalese workers have already returned home after the unrest in Libya.
