The Atwima Divisional Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Boakye Afful, has given assurance of adequate security arrangements to ensure that the district level poll in the area is peaceful.
??? He told the Ghana News Agency at Nkawie that the police were ready to handle any emergency.
??? He said more men would be deployed and there would also be police patrol and stand-by teams to quickly suppress any threat to the peace.
?? Mr Afful appealed to the candidates and their supporters to conduct themselves well to enable the election to pass off without a single nasty incident.
