An aspiring assemblyman for Tarkwa/Anomangye electoral area in the Kumasi Metropolis, Mr Akwasi Bosompem Boateng, has pledged to work closely with the people to seek development opportunities to improve the living conditions in the area.
Additionally, he would confer with the people to explore sustainable ways and means to make the electoral area self reliant in development initiatives before seeking intervention from the metropolitan assembly and the central government.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Kumasi on his plans if elected in the December 28 Polls, Mr Boateng, pointed out that, as a newly-created
electoral area, what is important is to build the capacities of the people, especially women and the youth, to empower them to identify development opportunities.
Mr Boateng said he would promote unity in the area by welcoming diverse opinions to provide effective and efficient leadership in order to solve some of the development challenges facing the electoral area.
He called on the people to vote for him to translate his vision into reality for the speedy development of the area.
