Voting to elect the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Hohoe North Constituency is proceeding smoothly after an hour delay.
Mr Kwabena Karikari, Hohoe Municipal Electoral Officer said the delay was due to the late arrival of delegates.
He explained that the delegates had to commute from their various points to the Hohoe School for the Deaf, venue for the exercise.
Mr Karikari said there were enough materials to ensure a successful exercise.
He said 560 delegates were expected to vote.
The GNA observed the heavy presenceof police personnel and posters of the candidates at the polling station.
A total of 366 delegates are expected to cast their votes at Hohoe South Constituency at Logba-Alakpeti.
