New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ashanti Regional Organiser aspirant, Sarfo Raphael Patrick, has pledged to remain active in the party despite losing the regional organiser election to Dennis Kwakwa.

Dennis Kwakwa won the election with 527 votes, while Sarfo Raphael polled 263 votes.

In a statement following the election, Mr Sarfo Raphael said the defeat would not bring his political journey to an end, reaffirming his commitment to the NPP and its growth.

“This defeat is not the end of my political journey. I remain committed to the NPP and to contributing to the growth, unity and strengthening of our party,” he said.

He accepted the decision of the delegates with humility and respect and congratulated Mr Kwakwa and the other successful candidates.

Mr Sarfo Raphael also expressed appreciation to the delegates who voted for him, as well as his campaign team, family, friends, sponsors, financiers and other supporters.

He urged party members to put the election behind them and unite to build a stronger NPP.

“Our party is bigger than any individual ambition. Let us put the election behind us, unite and work together for a stronger NPP and a successful future,” he said.
