The visit formed part of Ambassador Palmer’s farewell engagements as she officially announced the end of her tenure in Ghana.
Discussions between the two leaders centred on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Hon. Muntaka Mubarak commended Ambassador Palmer for her exemplary service and contributions to the Ministry and its agencies, noting the progress achieved under her leadership in U.S.-Ghana relations.
“Ambassador Palmer has been a true partner in our shared mission to promote peace, security, and good governance. Her tenure has seen remarkable collaboration between our two countries, especially within the security sector,” the Minister stated.
Ambassador Palmer, in turn, expressed her appreciation for the productive partnership and reaffirmed the U.S. government’s continued commitment to supporting the Ministry of the Interior and the Government of Ghana.
“It has been an honour to serve in Ghana. The strength of our partnership has been deeply encouraging, and I am confident it will continue to grow stronger,” she said.
The meeting highlighted the enduring relationship between Ghana and the United States, built on mutual respect and shared goals.
