Ubor Konja Tassan VI, Paramount chief of Kpassa in the Nkwanta North District, has welcomed the Oti Regional Minister, promising the backing of the Konkomba community.
He made the commitment during a courtesy call by the minister and members of the Oti Regional Coordinating Council (ORCC) at Kpassa in the Nkwanta North District.
The Kpassa chief's backing is particularly noteworthy, given his previous appeals to the government for development in Konkomba communities.
The Paramount chief has assured the full support of the Konkomba community under his supervision to help the Oti Regional minister achieve his goals.
Ubor Tassan VI, willingness to support the Oti Regional minister suggest that he believes the minister is committed to addressing the region's needs.
Ubor Tassan VI expressed his confidence in the minister, believing that he is one of the top individuals the president of Ghana listens to and can effectively communicate the concerns of Nkwanta North to the government.
"I recall your concerns about the Nkwanta- Kpassa road network during the 2024 campaign, it's great to hear that the president mentioned its construction during his tour of the Volta Region, your efforts to bring attention to this critical issue have not gone unnoticed," Ubor Tassan added.
Mr. John Kwadwo Gyapong, the Oti Regional minister, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Paramount chief of Kpassa and the entire Konkomba community for their support.
He promised to collaborate closely with the people, fostering a strong partnership to drive development in their area.
The Minister assured the Chief that he would work hand-in-hand with the Konkomba community ensuring that their daily concerns about development were addressed.
