The Omanhene of Akomadan, Nana Boakye Akuamoah Boateng II, has called on Ghanaians to appreciate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), for his compassion and leadership qualities.

Nana Boateng II praised Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to helping the underprivileged, especially individuals affected by leprosy, and highlighted his deep understanding of governance as reasons why Ghanaians should consider supporting his presidential bid.

Speaking during Dr. Bawumia’s visit as part of his campaign tour in the Ashanti Region on Tuesday, the Omanhene shared a moving account: “Personally, what I witnessed about this man brought me to tears. Dr. Bawumia helped a deprived woman in the Upper West Region, promising to build a house for her.

“His act of kindness truly touched me. Dr. Bawumia, you are a good person and the right leader for this country.”

He added, “Dr. Bawumia celebrates his birthday with the elderly and people affected by leprosy, sharing meals with them. This shows his empathy and concern for the vulnerable. Not only is he caring, but he is also intelligent and visionary.”
