Speaking to a group of young people at a public lecture and during the review of the book "Dr. Bawumia and the Modern Vice Presidency" by Prof. Etse Sikanku yesterday (September 28, 2024), Sheikh Nuamah commended Dr. Bawumia for his remarkable political journey. 

He noted that Bawumia is on the cusp of the Presidency due to his admirable character traits, which have earned him widespread support, even though he is a Muslim.

"Christians are rooting for him because of his character. They tell me, 'As for that man, he is very humble.' Yes, he is very, very humble," Sheikh Nuamah said.

"He is also very tolerant. You can insult him from morning till evening, and he won't mind you. Kindness is also one of his traits, and it's a character trait that, when you have, draws people closer," he added.

Sheikh Nuamah further praised Dr. Bawumia's unifying nature and work ethic, noting that those who have worked with him have testified to his diligence.

"He is also hardworking and result-oriented. Those working closely with him know that he is focused on results."

"And he is a unifier. If you look at the campaigns across all the regions, how many Muslims are there? How many Muslims are in this country? Yet, when you observe the crowds following him, they are very large. Chiefs and pastors who are non-Muslims are rooting for him," he added, urging the Zongo community to unite with the rest of the country and rally behind Dr. Bawumia in December, as he can be trusted.

"Dr. Bawumia has never been corrupt, and he has never been a womanizer. Even his opponents know that this Muslim is a decent character."
