Charity Oriachi has told BBC Focus on Africa that she has had help in coming to terms with the death of her husband, Alika Ogorchukwu, but now wants justice.

"I need justice, that is what I want. I am tired," she said.

A 32-year-old Italian has been arrested on suspicion of murder and robbery.

Speaking about her late husband, Ms Oriachi described him as "not someone to be troubling somebody".

He was reportedly selling handkerchiefs in the city of Civitanova Marche on Friday when he was chased and beaten to death. Ms Oriachi said she learnt the news on her way back from work.

"I just got a new job. I was coming from work. A lot of people started calling me."

The video of the attack - which has been widely circulated on Italian news websites and social media - has shocked people, with many highlighting the "indifference" of witnesses.

"That’s what I don't know. This form of wickedness I don't know," Ms Oriachi tells the BBC.

"It's a painful death."
