Professor Joshua Alabi, a presidential aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has paid a courtesy call on Nene Abram Kabu Akuaku III, the Paramount Chief of Ada, as part of his campaign tour of the area.
Prof Alabi said there was the need to accord respect to the chief and his elders as custodians of the land and seek their blessings as he embarked on his campaign. He said he wanted to lead the NDC Party to win the 2020 election and bring about the desired change Ghanaians yearned.
Nene Akuaku urged the aspirant and his team to exhibit maturity as in their campaign by avoiding politics of insults.
This would bring about some decency into the country’s democratic governance, he said.
