Mrs Theresa Adomako-Tawiah, Atwima Mponua District Chief Executive, has called on Heads of Departments to refrain from lateness, absenteeism and cultivate the habit of punctuality, commitment and hard work to enhance development in the district.
She made the call at a meeting with Heads of Departments on Wednesday at Nyinahin.
Mrs Adomako-Tawiah said her doors were opened and would accept constructive criticism to move the district forward in terms of development and called for their co-operation and support.
She urged Heads of Departments to check the attendance book and activities of their subordinates during working hours to ensure discipline.
Mr Andrews Nawil, Atwima Mponua District Co-ordinating Director on behalf of the Heads of Departments assured her of their support and hard work.
He said as civil and public servants, they would not involve themselves in politics.
Mr Nawil said major problems facing the district were offices and residential accommodation for staff.
