Monday night is Nomination Night on M-Net's Big Brother Africa and this week, Zambia's TK, Angola's Ricco and Nigeria's Uti received the most
votes (4 each) from their fellow housemates in the latest nomination show, screened on DStv.
After apparently having difficulty remembering everyone's names, Tawana <http://www.mnet.co.za/profiles/bba/UserDetails.aspx?userid=108275>
picked Mimi, who she felt was less than excited to see her return to the house when Tawana re-entered the house on Sunday after a week spent in the 'Rubbish Dump'. Tawana's second choice was Ricco <http://www.mnet.co.za/profiles/bba/UserDetails.aspx?userid=108255> ,
who she feels stands between Munya and Lucille.
TK <http://www.mnet.co.za/profiles/bba/UserDetails.aspx?userid=108265>
nominated Uti and Lucille because of their negative impact and lack of contribution to group, respectively.
Morris names Ricco as his first choice because of his popularity and Munya because of the rift between them.
Lucille
<http://www.mnet.co.za/profiles /bba/UserDetails.aspx?userid=108222>
dislikes Uti's immature and argumentative nature and doesn't trust Sheila.
Hazel
<http://www.mnet.co.za/Profiles/bba/UserDetails.aspx?userid=108211>
reluctantly picks TK because of his constant talk about drugs and Mimi because of her intolerance towards others.
Thami
<http://www.mnet.co.za/profiles/bba/UserDetails.aspx?userid=108277>
votes on looks, punishing Uti and Ricco, the former for his counterproductive and negative energy during last week's group tasks and
the latter as revenge for nominating him, which led to his 'fake eviction'.
Mimi <http://www.mnet.co.za/profiles/bba/UserDetails.aspx?userid=108227>
wants to see the back of Hazel because she is boring, followed by Uti because of his controlling nature, selfishness, greed and lack of
respect for others.
Sheila
<http://www.mnet.co.za/Profiles/bba/UserDetails.aspx?userid=108259>
also finds Hazel boring and not really in the game and chooses Morris
because he is the least entertaining of all the Housemates.
Uti <http://www.mnet.co.za/profiles/bba/UserDetails.aspx?userid=108281>
nominates TK for personal reasons - he is labouring on an old issue - and Hazel for a more strategic reason as he thinks she is one of the
favourites.
Munya
<http://www.mnet.co.za/profiles/bba/UserDetails.aspx?userid=108237>
doesn't believe TK likes him much as he has tried to manipulate him on numerous occasions. Ricco is another choice because he has not been
genuine towards him.
Ricco
<http://www.mnet.co.za/profiles/bba/UserDetails.aspx?userid=108255>
nominates Tawana because he is used to not having her around and TK because, as Head of House, he has the power to save himself and put someone else up for eviction.
Rather unsurprisingly, TK went straight to the diary room after hearing that he had been nominated and used his power as Head of House to
replace himself with Namibian Lucille.
Now it's up to viewers to decide the fate of the nominated trio - and remember, you're voting for the person you'd like to see evicted! There
are three ways to vote - by sending an SMS, making a call or by voting for free on the website (www.mnetafrica.com/bigbrother).
To vote a housemate by SMS, send the word VOTE followed by the housemate's name to the number for your country.
The SMS numbers are:
Ghana MTN 15626 US$ 0.50
Tigo 15626 US$ 0.50
Kasapa 15626 US$ 0.50
You can also vote a housemate out by dialling +27839000000 and selecting the number that corresponds to the housemate who you want to evict.
To vote online on the Big Brother Africa website
(www.mnetafrica.com/bigbrother), you must be registered with the OBoma social network. This will allow you to vote once per hour.
Don't forget that every time you vote, you increase your chances of winning a Sony Playstation 3 gaming console or a Digital Mobile
Television handset, courtesy of DStv Mobile.
A tough week lies ahead for our three nominees - and their fate lies in your hands. Get voting and keep watching 24/7 on DStv channel 198!
