In a few days it will be World Heart Day (29th September) and the heart is once more in focus. Even a perceived disease of the heart will get people to seek professional care immediately but of course in all things we have the “stubborn academy” who will wait till things virtually fall apart. The heart is associated with many exciting things such as love, good health, death and many more and it is no surprise that broken heart syndrome, heart attacks, heart failure and many more also find their way to this beloved organ. We should do our best to take good care of our hearts and that includes controlling certain health conditions we may already have BUT all of us should be able to follow these easy steps to heart health;
AS ALWAYS LAUGH OFTEN, ENSURE HYGIENE, WALK AND PRAY EVERYDAY AND REMEMBER IT’S A PRICELESS GIFT TO KNOW YOUR NUMBERS (blood sugar, blood pressure, blood cholesterol, BMI)
