India is considering using Israeli spy satellites for coastal surveillance over its sea boundary with Pakistan, highly placed sources said.
The satellites would be installed over the maritime region off the coast of the western state of Gujarat, said the sources
"A meeting in this regard has been recently held between the two sides during the visit of an Indian Defense delegation to Israel. A final decision in this regard would be soon taken by the central government," the sources said.
India has more that 7,500-km-long coastline.
