A Chinese miner was rescued from a flooded coalmine after being trapped for nearly 11 days, authorities said.
Wang Daoguang, 42, was trapped underground for 262 hours in the Jianon Coal Mine at Jincheng city, the China's northern Shanxi province, Xinhua reported
Monday.
Wang was weak but able to talk to rescuers when he was lifted from the mine pit and taken to a hospital for examination, a rescue service spokesman said.
The mine flooded on June 3, trapping 11 miners. Six were rescued and four confirmed dead on June 6, Xinhua reported.
