South Korean electronics maker, Samsung Electronics Co., said Tuesday in a press release that it will showcase a full line of new products with light-emitting- diode (LED) backlight system
at the upcoming 2010 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
Samsung said it will reveal a full line-up of new LED models at the CES starting Thursday in Las Vegas that includes computer monitors, digital photo frames, large format display monitors, and data projectors.
In particular, the new monitor (PX2370) upgraded its design and resolution from its previous XL2370 model with an added feature called "Magic Lux" that automatically detects the brightness around it and adjusts accordingly, the release said.
Also, the new LED monitor can save about 40 percent of power compared to previous models, making it an eco-friendly model, according to Samsung.
