Khloé Kardashian is not giving up on love.
During the season 6 premiere of The Kardashians, the mom of two was put on the spot by her BFF Malika Haqq who asked when Khloé was gonna get back to dating.
In a confessional, she addressed the question head-on. "Are you asking if I'm ever gonna date someone? I would hope so!" she said.
"I pray. It can’t be over for me yet," added the Good American founder, who turned 40 on June 27. "I’m not saying it’s gonna happen the day I turn 40. But at some point during my 40s I can promise, everybody, I will have gone on at least one date.”
Earlier in the episode, the topic of Khloé's then-approaching 40th birthday arose during a conversation with Kris Jenner and her sisters Kim, Kourtney and Kendall.
"This is gonna be your decade," Kris, 69, said, and Kim, 43, agreed.
"I already know, I'm claiming it, owning it," Khloé said. "I'm so excited."
"As long as you're healthy, I think it's great, getting older," she continued. "Cause you just don't care about what people think about you — it's such a freeing feeling."
Giving an update on her personal life, Khloé then said in a confessional: "I feel like so much great [stuff] is coming right now, whether it be business or how I feel about myself."
"My next chapter is: I wanna find a forever partner. And to do that, I wanna shed everything that’s not serving me, not for me," she said.
Khloé opened up about her priorities when it comes to romance in a recent episode of her new podcast, Khloé in Wonderland, as she said she finds it "so hard to date now" and such a "different" experience now that she has kids.
Calling her kids "my top priority," Khloé said, "I don’t care about dating. I don’t know what will happen in a couple years or next year, I don’t know. But I’m not dating, I don’t care to. My focus is on just my kids. But I think if I wasn’t in my situation, I’d be like, ‘You’re so full of s---.’ But I totally get it and to me, I think it’s the smartest thing."
During the season 6 premiere episode, Kim was also asked by producers about her dating life, which she joked was a "nosy" thing to ask.
"I used to say, ‘Okay, I wanna be single for two years’ and blah, blah, blah and that sounded great. Me? Not dating and not wanting love and attention? I don’t think you know me. This is a new production crew, clearly.”
New episodes of The Kardashians air Thursdays at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu.
