Snoop Dogg officially launched his jewelry collaboration, Lovechild, with Metal Alchemist and gamma. Wednesday night (Nov.13) with a glowing Los Angeles launch party.
Ahead of the celebratory festivities, the 53-year-old joined gamma. co-founder and CEO Larry Jackson and Metal Alchemist founder Carolyn Rafaelian to answer questions surrounding the new release with a buzzing group of reporters eager to learn the details behind the rings and necklaces on display.
Wearing some of the product line himself, the West Coast rapper detailed to VIBE the purpose behind Lovechild, highlighting details including a custom “S” clasp featured on the bracelets.
“The jewelry represents me because…it accompanies me. It’s never too much. It’s just enough. It’s not too flamboyant, and it’s not expensive. It’s something that people can afford,” explained Snoop Dogg.
The initial launch includes rings, chains, and bracelets, made with Metal Alchemist’s optimized, clean, wellness metals – gold/gold vermeil/sterling silver. According to the official website, Lovechild unites Snoop’s values, gamma.’s empowering vision, and Metal Alchemist’s innovation and craftsmanship, with gamma. playing a pivotal role in providing the creative freedom and resources that allow Snoop’s vision to thrive without compromise. Prices range from $168 – $268 for each individual piece.
