Diddy is casting his vote for Joe Biden this November, and laying out a platform for his new political party.
While chatting with Charlamagne Tha God for Revolt TV on Thursday (Oct. 15), Diddy shared his thoughts on President Donald Trump. “White men like Trump need to be banished,” he explained. “That way of thinking is real dangerous. This man literally threatened the lives of us and our families about going to vote.”
He went on to specifically call out Trump’s controversial “stand back and stand by” comments to The Proud Boys during his first debate against Biden. “We’re in a war. We’re not taking this like it’s a war. We’re taking it like it’s a presidential election. We’re in a war of love versus hate. The number one priority is to get Trump out of office. The tribe of people that have the responsibility and really should be scared to death of this man is white people.”
As for his Our Black Party, Diddy hopes to focus on an agenda that’s specifically tailored toward the needs of the African-American community.
“From a national, state, and local perspective, there’s currently a lot of energy in terms of people wanting to do something and Our Black Party is one vehicle that can be used to corral collective energy to cultivate change. We don’t just want symbolic change, we want substantive change,” Dr. Wes Bellamy?, the Our Black Party co-chair previously told Revolt.
