In response to the growing demand for healthier, high-quality non-alcoholic beverage options, Premium Non-Alcoholics Limited (PNA) – operating in the UK and Ghana and recognised as the premier one-stop shop for all categories of premium non-alcoholic beverages, is pleased to announce that it has secured exclusive distribution rights for Thatchers Cider across Ghana, with scope to expand into selected neighbouring West African markets.
This landmark agreement represents a significant milestone in the evolution of West Africa’s premium beverage landscape and further strengthens Ghana’s position as an emerging market for high-quality alcohol-free alternatives.

Successful Market Entry and Brand Activation
The announcement follows a series of highly successful brand activations in Accra, beginning with PNA’s invite-only soft launch on May 16, 2025, held at Silver Star Towers, Accra.
The event was hosted by UK-based PNA Co-Founders David Wright and Kofi Folson, alongside Ghanaian Directors Ransford Ampratwum and Francesca Doe. Attendance included a distinguished cross-section of industry stakeholders, including:
- Food & Beverage Managers from major hotel chains
- Hospitality operators and distributors
- Corporate professionals
- Faith and community leaders
- Influential figures from Ghana’s creative industries
Guests were treated to an immersive tasting experience showcasing PNA’s curated portfolio of internationally sourced premium zero- and alcohol-free beverages, highlighting both quality and global provenance.
Engaging Ghana’s Youth and Lifestyle Market
On November 22, 2025, PNA further embedded itself within Ghana’s vibrant youth culture through participation in “The Roadman Experience”, a leading urban lifestyle event celebrating music, fashion, street culture, and food.
In collaboration with youth-owned brand Cheers Chale, PNA distributed complimentary samples of Thatchers Cider to registered attendees, enabling first-hand exposure to premium non-alcoholic ciders among a younger consumer demographic.

The high-energy environment facilitated authentic engagement and introduced many attendees to the non-alcoholic cider category for the first time.
Festive Season & Hospitality Sector Presence
During the festive period, PNA supported the Channel One TV White Party on December 24, 2025, supplying premium non-alcoholic beverages for designated alcohol-free tables, ensuring guests choosing alcohol-free options could participate fully in the celebrations without compromise.
PNA’s growing influence within Ghana’s hospitality sector was further demonstrated at the 2025 Accra Bar Show, held at the Kempinski Hotel, Accra.
PNA was notably the only exhibitor offering a fully alcohol-free bar and beverage range, showcasing non-alcoholic beers, ciders, sparkling wines, and spirits over the three-day event.
By popular vote, Thatchers Cider emerged as the standout beverage of the show, with attendees praising its crisp flavour profile, heritage craftsmanship, and cider-making traditions refined over more than a century.
Outlook for 2026
Looking ahead, Premium Non-Alcoholics Ltd remains well-positioned to support Ghana’s rapidly evolving hospitality and lifestyle markets by delivering globally recognised, premium alcohol-free beverages through a structured and scalable distribution model.
The company is currently engaging selected wholesale and distribution partners to support a nationwide rollout of Thatchers Cider across Ghana in 2026, with future regional expansion under consideration.
