Miniplast Limited, has donated a total of 1,000 plastic chairs valued at GHS150,000.00 to the Volta Regional Minister to support community and administrative activities across the region.
Mr Felix Kormla Fansey, Corporate Sales Coordinator of Miniplast Limited, presented the chairs on behalf of the Company. He reaffirmed Miniplast’s commitment to supporting development efforts in the Volta Region.
Mr Fansey announced the Company’s intention to establish a plastic recycling plant in the region, an initiative he said aligns with goals of job creation, environmental responsibility, and industrial expansion. Mr James Gunu, the Volta Regional Minister, receiving the items with appreciation, described the gesture as a boost to ongoing regional development interventions.
He acknowledged the role of Mr Dela Gadzanku, AGI Chairman for Volta, Eastern and Oti, who led the delegation, facilitated the donation, and commended Mr Gadzanku’s consistent support for the region’s growth agenda. The Minister said the chairs would be deployed for community engagements, public meetings, and regional outreach programmes to enhance service delivery. He expressed optimism about Miniplast’s plans to expand operations into the Volta Region, noting that such an investment would create employment opportunities for youth and strengthen the local economy.
Mr Gunu, on behalf of the people of the Volta Region, extended gratitude to Miniplast Limited for the partnership and called for continued collaboration to advance development initiatives.
